This Privacy Policy sets forth the terms and conditions for
which Cocone Corporation (the “Company”) will manage
the information of the Customer in connection with the
application software to be offered by the Company (the
“App”), as follows:
Information to be Collected and Method of Use
The Company will collect the information and use such
information in the App as provided below:
Information to be Provided by the Customer

E-mail Address (may not be required depending on the
service.)

Registration of an e-mail address is generally not
required when opening an account for the App. However,
in order to transfer the App account information due to
a change in the Customer’s mobile device or to use the
same account in more than one mobile device, the
Customer will be required to register an e-mail address
and set up a password. The e-mail address and password
registered in order to transfer the account information
will be used for identity verification and prevention of
unauthorized use.

The information provided by the Customer will not be
disclosed to other customers. While the registration of
information is voluntary, to enjoy the full features of
the App, the Customer will need to register. If the
Customer deletes the App account, the Customer’s
information will be deleted in accordance with the
Company’s rules.

The information provided by the Customer will be used to
send various notices and information to the Customer at
the registered e-mail address upon receiving such
customer’s consent at the time of opening an account.
- Other Information to be Registered

The Company will from time to time request the Customer
to register information such as the Customer’s profile
information (i.e., user name for the App, icon image and
message) and date of birth for purposes such as the
stable use of the App and establishing stable
communication among the customers. The profile
information to be displayed on the App and the
information registered or posted by the Customer for
disclosure to other customers (such as text, images or
videos) may be viewed by other customers. The
registration of information by the Customer is
voluntary, but the App or parts of the App may not be
available to Customer if the Customer does not register.

Information to be Collected upon Sales Campaigns, etc.

The Company will from time to time collect the name,
address, telephone number, e-mail address, gender, date
of birth and other information of the Customer for
purposes such as sweepstakes and shipment of prizes upon
conducting surveys or sales promotions and shipment of
purchased goods.

Information to be Collected upon Receiving Inquiries
from the Customer

The Company will collect the e-mail address, name of
mobile device model, information regarding the
Customer’s computer operating system (OS) and other
information depending on the details of the inquires
received from the Customer. Such information will be
used to investigate, provide answers or conduct ID
verifications in connection with the inquiries.

Service Use Information

Cookies
Cookies are used to enhance the convenience of
the Customer such as saving the details of the
Customer’s setup, provide security by
maintaining and protecting sessions, and provide
better services by collecting information such
as the number of visits to the App used by
Customer, how the App has been used, and the
scale of the Customer. The Customer may select
whether or not to use cookies, but there may be
times when customer may not be able to use a
part of the App, such as services requiring a
login, if such customer refuses cookie storage.

Log-in Information
Upon the Customer’s use of the App, information
such as the IP address, browser type and browser
language will be automatically created and
stored. Such information will be used to analyze
the Customer’s use environment and will be used
to provide better service and prevent
unauthorized use which interferes with the
normal provision of the services.

Location Information
The App uses the location information sent by
the Customer’s mobile devices when the Customer
uses features such as the friend introduction
feature. If the Customer uses any of the
applicable services, the location information of
such Customer will be used to the extent
necessary for such service. Location information
will not be transmitted if the transmission of
location information has not been authorized by
the Customer through his/her mobile device
setup.

Device Information
There may be times when the Company will collect
information on device to be used by the customer
(such as OS, identification information of
terminal and name of computer). Such information
will be used to provide better service,
identification verification and prevention of
unauthorized use which interferes with the
normal provision of the services.
Cookies, IP address information, advertisement identifiers
We do not recognize cookies, IP address information,
advertisement identifiers (Advertising Identifier (iOS) and
Google Advertising ID (Android OS)) as personal information
since they cannot identify a specific individual with such
information alone. However, when such information is used as
integrated with personal information, we consider such
information as personal information since it enables us to
identify a specific individual. In addition, for customers
with the application of the EU General Data Protection
Regulation (GDPR), we deal with such information as GDPR
personal data in accordance with GDPR.
For cookie information and advertisement identifier, it is
possible to refuse by browser settings or settings on
smartphones. If our service cannot be used due to the
refusal of cookies, we announce that so on the service.
Purpose of Use of the Information
The Company will use the personal information obtained by
the Company for the purposes set forth below (the
“Purposes”). Any information for which the purpose of
use was restricted at the time the it was obtained (such as
an e-mail address) will be used within such restricted
scope.
- To prevent unlawful use;
- To offer the Customer a stable use of the App;

To prepare statistical data relating to the use of App;

To conduct surveys relating to the App that is currently
offered or is being considered for future offerings;
- To respond to inquiries from customer;

To announce information to the Customer, such as
information regarding the App and advertisement
information when a business entity other than the
Company is the advertiser

To draft and provide a new plan concerning the future
App;

To Conduct sweepstakes and other sales campaigns and for
shipment of goods to Customer;

To conduct identification verification when the Company
receives any questions from the customer; and
-
To process invoices when customer purchases goods or
uses any service that requires a service fee.
Provision of Information
The Company will not provide any of the customer’s personal
information to any third party except as provided below.
- When the Customer gives prior consent;

When the Company’s provision of such information to a
third party is required under law.

When the Customer breaches the terms of use of App and
there are sufficient grounds to determine that there is
no choice but to disclose personal information in order
to protect the Company’s rights, properties and
services, etc;

When the Company provision of such information to a
third party is required to protect the life, the
physical safety or the property of a person and
obtaining consent from the Customer is difficult;

When the Company provides such information to a third
party who is specifically required to promote the
improvement of public health and healthy development of
children and obtaining consent from the Customer is
difficult;

When the Company provides such information to a third
party is who required to cooperate with national or
local governments or persons delegated powers by such
government for performing the work prescribed under
applicable laws or regulations and obtaining consent
from the Customer may risk impeding such work; and
-
When the Company’s business assets (including the
provision of personal information) will be succeeded by
another company due to merger, company split, asset
purchase or for other reason.
Consignment of Information
The Company may from time to time consign to a service
provider all or part of the customer’s personal information
to the extent necessary to achieve the Purposes. In such
event, the Company will carefully evaluate the
qualifications of the service provider, include in the
agreement with the service provider provisions such as
confidential obligations, and establish a system under which
the information will be properly managed.
Joint Use of Information
If it is necessary for the Company to engage a business
partner to jointly carry out the work of providing the App,
the Company may from time to time jointly use the Customer’s
personal information with such business partner. In such
event, the Company will jointly use the personal information
with such business partner upon disclosing to the customer
the Purposes, name of the business partner, type of
information and name of the administrator.
Customer’s Rights
At any time, the Customer may seek confirmation and
correction of any information registered by such Customer on
the App website, such as e-mail address and password. The
Customer may also delete his/her account at any time.
In the event that the Customer wishes to request the Company
to disclose any personal information that cannot be
confirmed on the service website, the Customer may request
such disclosure in accordance with the procedures separately
provided by the Company, except in any of the following
cases:

If the disclosure may cause risks of harm to life,
physical safety, property or any other rights or
interests of the Customer or any third party or may
significantly impede the proper implementation of the
Company’s business;

If the disclosure will violate any applicable laws or
regulations; and
-
If the Company is unable to verify that the request for
such disclosure was made by the Customer.
In the event that the Company, as result of the disclosure,
has determined that the personal information provided by the
Customer and held by the Company was not true, the Customer
may request the correction, addition or deletion of his/her
personal information in accordance with the procedures
separately provided by the Company. In such event, the
Company will without delay conduct an investigation to the
extent necessary to achieve the Purposes and will make
corrections, additions or deletions based on the results of
such investigation.
If the Customer wishes to request disclosure of any personal
information that cannot be confirmed on the service website,
the customer may be required to pay a disclosure fee in
accordance with the procedures separately provided by the
Company.
The provision of personal information by the Customer is
voluntary, provided, however that the App or part of the App
may not be available to the Customer if the Customer does
not provide required information to the Company.
Information on Withdrawing Member
If the Customer deletes his/her App account, the Company
will appropriately handle the Customer information in
accordance with applicable laws and regulations and internal
rules.
Personal Information of Minors
If Customer is under the age of fifteen (15), any of his/her
personal information must be inputted with consent of the
Customer’s parent or guardian.
Amendment to this Privacy Policy
This Privacy Policy may be amended from time to time by the
Company. For any material changes, the Company will notify
the Customer the details thereof by means which the customer
will easily understand.
